A one-day NSF Computer & Information Science & Engineering (CISE) CAREER proposal writing workshop will take place on April 15, 2011, at Waterside Marriott in Norfolk, Virginia. The goal of the workshop is to enable future CISE proposal submitters to prepare competitive CAREER proposals. The workshop intends to provide young faculty members skills in CAREER proposal writing, panel review experience, and opportunities to interact with NSF program directors and recent NSF awardees. The major components of the workshop includes talks on CAREER proposal writing, experience sharing, mock panels, and proposal clinic.

The workshop will be open to participants from U.S. national universities. We expect maximum 100 participants in the workshop. No registration fee is needed. Junior faculty members from HBCU/MEI are eligible to apply for travel support.
